LHCA Executive Board of Directors seeks Vice President/President
The LHCA Board of Directors seeks a dedicated and experienced leader to serve – initially for 6 months to Feb 2026 - as Vice President under the mentorship of the current President and Past President. The Vice President’s role will advance to the 2-year term of President effective AGM February 12, 2026. Previous governance board experience in the not-for-profit sector is preferred.
Overview
The Ladysmith Health Care Auxiliary (LHCA) is a member of the B.C. Association of Healthcare Auxiliaries (BCAHA). LHCA operates a successful Thrift Store in Ladysmith, B.C. grossing $1 Million annually under the direction of its paid Executive Director and staff of 3, and 230+ enthusiastic volunteers. Thrift Store revenues fuel grant-funding to local/regional hospitals and organizations focused on improving the health and wellness of Ladysmith and surrounding area residents.
