My family of five moved from the Okanagan Valley to the Island in 2003 for my husbandā€™s work at the Nanaimo General Regional Hospital in Infection Control. I have extensive banking experience, and in 2011 started working in Accounts payable and receivable in the private sector.
My working experience in Excel and Sage will be of benefit to the position of Assistant Treasurer.
I moved to Ladysmith In June 2021 and started volunteering at the Ladysmith Healthcare Thrift Store in August of 2021 at the Cash register. I asked the volunteers at the Receiving door if the Thrift Store was looking for volunteers - I was grabbed and held hostage until I filled in the volunteer form.
It has been a great experience so far and I am looking forward to working with the team in this new position as Assistant Treasurer.
